Makkah Museum: This name was given to it because it documents the history of Makkah and Madinah through various stages, beginning with the drawings of travelers, Orientalists, and Muslims.

It then records the development of photography from the invention of the camera, through the early photographers, to the golden age of photography, up to the present day.
